The Memory Of Falling Embers
A story I’ve assembled from my grandmother’s recollections of England in a world at war. Written in honor of Memorial Day 2023. I should note that my Great-Grandmother’s frustration with the US delay to joining the war is not a reflection of my opinion, as I do understand the politics at the time. It is just the truth of how she felt raising her children during the Blitz. I am an American Citizen and honor the memory of those who lost their lives to protect my freedom.
